OK, it was pretty obvious from the start that the author finished this book in a real hurry, without much in the way of editing. Nonetheless, I stuck with it, as this genre is a guilty pleasure of mine.One massively overpowered hero who has little in the way of obstacles eventually meeting up with a massively overpowered villain in a battle that takes up a quarter of the book. It reminded me of fanatic World of Warcraft PVPers, whose whole rationale is fighting other strong players without moving the plot forward.
The author clearly spent good money on the cover art, but apparently didn't pay for editing. So in the end, you have an idea/group of ideas that while raw and undeveloped still command enough interest for a quick read.

I enjoyed the theme of this book and look forward to more by this author. This is the type of fantasy that I am interested in. It was nice to read a book about a group of people that could fight with the powers that they seem to possess.
The author is obviously just starting out, but he has a natural talent for storytelling. It has a bit of a dungeons and dragons feel if you've ever played past level 21.
The hero is somewhat unlikeable, but that is the point.
Anyway I really liked the book and for the price you really can't justify not getting it.
I really enjoyed this book. At first it was a bit hard to follow, becuase you as the reader, just jumped right into the action, no preamble or anything. Once I got past that nI couldn't put this down. I am really hoping that there is a sequel; especially considering the ending.
I would buy and read the next book on , but, it's been out since 2011, so I have a feeling it's not going to happen.
If the price is not too high I might buy from the writer. This is all I have to say.
Yep, lots of action. Swords and magic everywhere. God's meddling. Battle fir world domination.
I liked this book. Nothing to deep. Yes, it does have its confusion spots early in book. Once you get character's straightened out, everything falls into place. Like I stated, the book is action packed. From one battle scene to another.
Good humor. The author does a nice job on filling reader in on character background on how Crimson Blade formed.
I will be awaiting any other books in this series
